IRMA
IRMA is a globally successful artist, a fashion journalist and an art director. She is a style icon who has appeared on the cover of various fashion magazines and promotional ads. She has been a regular contributor to German “Glamour” magazine for many years as a trendsetter, including her regular series article, “IRMAS MODE ATELIER”.
She studied Communication Design at the renowned Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. She started her career in Munich as an art director for the SZ Magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung which belonged the largest German newspaper company. She became the art director of the SZ Youth Magazine Jetzt (Now) which won numerous prizes under her directorship.
This was followed by many years of work as the art/creative director of the German Marie Claire Magazine. Her work is regularly published in international magazines such as Tatler, Glamour, Vogue, Elle, Brutus Casa, FRAU Magazin, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. Her work has been honoured with exhibitions in Paris, New York and Munich. From October 13, 2010, at Isetan Gallery in Tokyo, IRMA will have her first solo exhibition in Japan.
